Read a little.
Play a little.
Tocko is a tall house full of sounds. Pick one complete story. Join in when a sound or game appears. At the end, make two taps and wait for the house to answer.

Three things to try.
- 1
Pick a story.
Any story works on its own. Begin with Cold Pipe if you want a free, complete first read. You can read it, or press play for its narration.
- 2
Make the sounds together.
Say the noises, guess what made them, or just listen. At the end, the child taps twice on a tabletop. The grown-up waits a moment, then answers with two quiet taps. Swap roles if you like.
- 3
Keep playing if you like.
Try the two-tap board on this site, or make a rhythm in the Sound Room. There is no score to win.
What sounds fun now?
You can stop after one story or come back for another game.

Each written story joins one everyday sound or fact in the house with one storytelling rule. That pairing gives Pim and Hod a small problem or surprise. The story ends with the same invitation: two taps and a wait.
The story engine lets curious readers see the real pairings. You do not need it to enjoy a book.
